Being with Dying
What’s the subject we often avoid but cannot escape? Not so long ago, conversations about death and dying were commonplace. That was before so many folks were separated from their families during the last days, weeks and often months prior to dying. In our times, the subject of death engenders discomfort or downright avoidance in polite conversation. Break that taboo for five weeks of conversation with Penny Youngren examining the end-of-life issues including, but not limited to:
· Preferred ways of living through our own dying process
· What we wish to leave behind
· Medical choices and the physical process of dying
· Planning our own memorial services
The class size is limited to 10. Please sign up with Penny at pjyoungren13@gmail.com. Sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Center for Spiritual Care Givers. Cost is $70 per person or $120 per couple.
