Are you interested in the benefits of practicing yoga? We have two Yoga Classes to fit your needs!
Chair yoga is perfect for people who are new to yoga or who have mobility issues. This accessible yoga practice uses the chair among other props to aid in moving the body in a supportive and safe way through our asanas, or postures. Like all yoga practices, chair yoga helps increase flexibility and strength, as well as improve balance and coordination. Through gentle, yet effective, movement and harnessing the power of your breath this is a great practice for enhancing the mind-body connection. Yin yoga is a quiet, contemplative practice for all ages of adults. It uses longer held seated poses and gravity to target the deep connective tissues of the body. This is a contrast to the more dynamic yang yoga practices, such as Vinyasa, which target the muscles. The benefits of yin include increased calm, flexibility and energy, reduced stress, improved sleep, fosters self-love, self-discovery, and releases stored emotions.
