Music Notes
Amanda Jackman, Director of Music, was born and raised in the Grand Valley. She graduated from CMU with a BA in Vocal Performance and Theatre in 2011. Amanda conducted her first church choir for three years while she was a student before moving into the field of Education. She holds a Colorado K-12 Music Teaching License, and taught grades K-8 for seven years before taking a break to raise two small children. Amanda and her partner Sabrina are theatre people at heart, and have been seen performing all over the Valley. Amanda's most recent project was Music Directing Cannibal: The Musical for Geek Parties of the Grand Valley, and she has performed with several other theatre companies in town as well!
Amanda has worked with voice, string, and theatre students of all ages, and is thrilled to be working with the kind and welcoming community of UUCGV! She loves to bring love and light into people's lives through music.
