September 8th, 1:00 Vegan Potluck (after the Hawthorne Park event), 2:00 Presentation, 3:30 Coffee and group discussions Wayne and Sandi Sturm will be returning from LA with the latest slideshow from the Climate Reality Project. This 90 minute show discusses the latest science around climate change with a focus on the effects in Western Colorado and the multiple reasons we have to be hopeful in the face of crisis. After the presentation stick around for some break out sessions around the topics of food and energy as they relate to climate change. We are also looking for a couple of volunteers to work with us on the UU Green Sanctuary project.
